Caledonia Christmas Parade

  • December  5, 2025.  On the first weekend in December, Caledonia celebrates the season with a Christmas parade on Friday night located in Downtown Caledonia.

State Central Committee

  • December 13, 2025. Bemidgi State University. 


2026 Election Schedule

Minnesota Statewide Caucuses

  • February 3, 2026, 7 p.m. - Caledonia City Auditorium (All precincts / All Houston County). This is where the grassroots begins for Minnesota politics. Become a delegate or alternate for your precinct in Houston County. As a delegate or alternate, you can participate in helping decide who appears on the 2026 ballots for your Republican Party. 

Township Elections

  • March 10, 2026. Township elections.  


Houston County Convention

  • TBD. The Houston County Convention selects delegates and alternates to represent Houston County at CD1 and State level. Be sure to sign up as a precinct delegate or alternate at Caucus on February 3, 2026, to be eligible to become a delegate or alternate for Houston County. 

MN House 26B Endorsing Convention

  • TBD. The MN House Endorsing Convention selects the endorsed candidate for MN House 26B. Facilitated with Fillmore County (area's within the 26B House District). Delegates and alternates elected at the February 3, 2026 Caucus have voting power.

MN Senate 26 Endorsing Convention

  • TBD. The MN Senate Endorsing Convention selects the endorsed candidate for MN Senate 26. Facilitated with Winona and Fillmore counties (area's within the 26 Senate District). Delegates and alternates elected at the February 3, 2026 Caucus have voting power. 


CD1 Convention

  • April 11, 2026. The CD1 convention will be held in a location to be determined. Delegates and alternates elected at the Houston County Convention have voting power.


State Convention

  • TBD. The State convention will be held in a location to be determined. Delegates and alternates elected at the Houston County Convention have voting power. 


Primary Election

  • August 11, 2026. Primary elections (This determines which candidates for each party will appear on the November 4th ballot).

Election Day

  • November 3, 2026. Election Day ("Mid-term elections").
